Why Should I Use the services of Pecoras Pet Care?

PPC is a small and personal operation. A person who is passionate about animals will care for your pet(s). Also, your pet(s) will be allowed to remain in the comfort of his/her own home, not in some strange place or cage being handled by people who are merely “doing their job”.Your pet will:

  • Receive personal one-on-one attention tailored to his needs.
  • Be able to stay home and maintain her/his regular routines.
  • Not be exposed to conditions found in a boarding environment.
  • Not required to be kept in a cage while you are away.
  • Experience less stress and nervousness while you are away.
  • Receive reinforcement of any training or behavior styles you are working on.

Will my home and possessions be secure?

Your home will be more secure and less vulnerable because, at no additional cost:

  • Mail and newspapers will be collected.
  • Lights and blinds/curtains will be changed
  • Garbage will be put out for collection and cans brought back the next day.
  • Plants and flowers will be watered.
  • Bird feeders will be maintained.


How do I request service from Pecora’s Pet Care?



How much notice must I give in order to cancel services from Pecora’s Pet Care?


  • We need as much notice as possible for cancellation of our services. Please be as certain as you can as to the dates and times we have agreed upon. Our schedule is based on these arrangements and last minute cancellations will effect other clients. If no notice of cancellation is provided at all, and we get to your house, a cancellation fee of 50% of the agreed on amount will be charged.


How do I get the key to/and from the PPC representative?


  • We will collect 2 keys from you at the set-up meeting. We will carry one of these keys when we come to your home to care for your pet(s). The second key will be kept at PPC in a secure location just in case we accidentally get locked out. We will return both keys when our service is terminated.


Which types of animals will PPC provide service for and which types will PCC NOT care for?


  • PPC will care for your dogs, cats, birds,  bunnies, hamsters, etc. BUT, we will not provide service to mean or aggressive animals. Aggressive dogs or other aggressive animals can pose a threat to both the caretaker and others. You know your pet. If there is a good chance that it might hurt us or others, please do not call.


How Do I Pay Pecoras Pet Care?


  • We Accept Cash or Checks.

  • Yes.


Will the PPC Representative meet my pet prior to the first day of service?


  • Yes. A consultation will be scheduled with and your pet to discuss details about needs and expectations. This is free of charge. It is our primary goal to bond with your pet and give it as much tender loving care as possible. We take this very personally. We will come to your home to meet with both you and your pet and to make arrangements for the specific services you have in mind. This will give all of us a chance to become comfortable with each other and discuss any special needs or concerns you may have.
